“ Consistently good sushi every time and while it's pricey, it's better than most places. Great service too. ”
“ Quick, friendly service. Traditional feel, clean and greeted with smiles. They've improved tremendously since my last visit in 2020. Great-tasting fresh sushi. Added as one of my favorite spots in the area! ”
“ This place has become a friendly favorite!! Third visit in 6 weeks and it was amazing!!! Yum Yum Yum!!! On Friday the place is busier but sit in the last booth and you'll still love it! Lina and Brittany took care of us as usual. I love Sushi Weng!!!! ”
“ Food here is amazing Brittany (server) is super sweet Good place to grab a drink and dinner after work or for a date!:) ”
“ Take out experience Good pricing, online menu easy to use, staff friendly, quick service Sushi is pretty good for the area and definitely for the price. Lobster puffs are delicious! ”
“ I love this place. It's a smaller, locally owned sushi restaurant. There is seating both at a bar(where they mix up some pretty good drinks) & a main dining room area. The service I received was prompt, attentive, and efficient. Our server, Miranda, was so sweet and took great care of us. The food was delicious. We got the garlic rice, novi roll, and the california roll. All of them were awesome, but the garlic rice really shined for me. The spicy mayo was homemade and very tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend. ”
“ Good sushi selection, decent service for both takeout and dine in, but my biggest issue w this place is they only have descriptions for about a third of the sushi rolls listed on the menu. How are we supposed to know what to order if we don't know what's in the roll? Also, I wish they had noodles as a side to their hibachi entree...every other hibachi place on earth I've been to has noodles included with hibachi. Overall good place; has some room for improvement. ”
“ Fantastic little sushi shop. Possibly the best sushi anywhere north of West Bloomfield, and maybe as good or better than any of those too. We ordered several rolls to go recently and the sushi was fresh, tasty, and they got our order completely right even though it was a bit complicated. I also will say that I thought their Spicy Tuna roll was among the best I've ever had. (It's minced tuna in spicy sauce, not whole tuna pieces with spicy mayo, just to set expectations correctly.) We will be back frequently! ”
“ I have been a customer here since the very beginning. We were super excited that a sushi restaurant moved into a defunct coney. At first, I believe this place was called Happy Sushi, but since have changed their name to Sushi Weng. I am not sure why the name change, but I believe they are still the original owners. We have come here often over the years. My favorite time was when they had a happy hour. It was the the most amazing compared to happy hours available in the area, but I enjoyed their low priced beer and saki. I used to use that as an excuse to procure some good sushi before dinner. We cannot eat in here, and have not been able to come in for pretty much the entire extend of the pandemic, so it has been almost a year by now, but back in the day my daughter used to love their katsu chicken dinner. It was a large, juicy piece of chicken that was battered and fried and quite flavorful. We also use the love the fries. Even though they were simply food service type fries, whatever they fried them in (probably fried in the same oil as seafood) they were so yummy!!!! They went very well with the katsu, sooo good. When you get dine-in sushi here, it is nice and freshly made. I have never been disappointed by their food. For now we have carry-out only, but is was still very good and satisfying. I am not know for getting the healthier sushi, I do enjoy the tempura style rolls, and they do them so well. We got the tempura cali, Las Vegas roll, the Philadelphia roll, the shrimp tempura, and the Diane. I recommend all of them. Even though I wanted a snack, I can't leave here without getting those rolls. The prices are pretty good for sushi, some places can be rather expensive for even simple rolls. This place offers a good value, I payed $37 for six rolls. I am happy to see this place survive the times, and I am happy to see that they have a steady steam of customers supporting a small business. ”
